No CAUTIs

Peds and PICU teams held a celebration to note a significant milestone. In November, the staff of Peds celebrated 2 years with no Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections, or CAUTI and PICU celebrated 4 years without a CAUTI.  CAUTIs can lead to extended hospital stays, increased healthcare costs, and patient morbidity and mortality.  Congratulations to everyone on Peds and PICU for their part in this notable accomplishment.
