"Ms. Tammy's Coffee" on 9MICU

We are so grateful for Tammy Rolfes, CA on 9MICU! She is the definition of "going above and beyond" in ALL she does.

Last week my patient's wife was sleeping at his bedside overnight, and she woke up in the morning to a hot cup of coffee sitting next to her. Tammy had learned that the patient typically prepares a cup of coffee for his wife every morning, but this was not possible as he was hospitalized. In tears, the patient's wife told me that Tammy's coffee (prepared exactly as she likes it) changed everything for her that day, and each day after - it provided her with comfort and hope.

Tammy does this sort of thing all day long, and you'll never find her sitting down! This is just a tiny example of the love she shows our patients and their families.
