Recognition going out to NRV Carilion Clinic Home Care Staff in regard to the Cognitive Care Program

Kristi Rice (SN), Nick Burroughs (PT), and Katelynne Sims (OT),  went above and beyond during their visits, per the husband,  with a client with a Dementia diagnosis, and her husband, who is struggling with the effects of this diagnosis on his wife of almost 50 years.  He praised this team on their willingness to listen and be available during this time of need for them.  He praised them for their compassion demonstrated by the time they each took to talk he and his wife through this journey, listening to their needs and fears, and providing strategies from the very beginning of the Home Health Episode to help them continue to move forward.
