Linda Staley leads national workgroup on ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence in public relations

Congratulations to Corporate Communications Manager Linda Staley, APR, Fellow PRSA, who has been tapped to lead a national workgroup to provide guidance on the ethical implications and considerations on the emerging use of artificial intelligence (AI) on the public relations profession and society. The role is part of her work as a member of the Public Relations Society of America’s Board of Ethics and Professional Standards (BEPS). Previously, she contributed to the Society’s ethical advisory on misinformation.

BEPS is a national board of 11 Accredited members responsible for refining the Society’s standards for the ethical practice of public relations and fostering the highest level of professional standards within the profession. BEPS also counsels PRSA’s Board of Directors regarding the Society’s Code of Ethics and develops educational programs for members and the public.
