Limited Radiologic Technology program inaugural class pinning ceremony.

     Through the collaboration of Roanoke County Public Schools (RCPS), the Burton Center for Arts and Science, and Carilion Clinic, the Limited Radiologic Technology program was established in August 2022 for Roanoke County high school seniors.  The program classroom and training room are located in the Imaging department of the Carilion Clinic Pediatric site at Tanglewood Mall.  On May 1, 2023, the inaugural graduating class of Limited Radiologic Technologist program students received their Radiology pins in combination with the Burton Center CNA program pinning ceremony at Northside High School.  The Limited Rad Tech program joined the existing EMT and CNA programs of the Burton Center for educational opportunities designed for RCPS high school students to begin their careers in the healthcare field.
