Letting a kid be a kid
Last week, CRBH was holding a pediatric behavioral health patient in the ED for multiple days. During this time Richard Winand, Clinical Associate, ensured the patient had recreational diversions available. In partnership with law enforcement, physicians, and nursing; Richard took the child outside to play catch and allowed them time to just be a kid.
