Legacy Shawl Project in Palliative on 10 South
We are appreciative of the continued support for the Legacy Shawl Project in Palliative at CRMH. These shawls / lap blankets are for the patients and families in the Palliative unit at CRMH. We recently received an assortment of beautiful shawls / lap blankets knitted and crocheted by members of our community. We are so thankful that members we serve as a healthcare system give back to us in this way. It was a privilege giving these colorful creations to our patients in Palliative. The appreciation of our families for these donated offerings was heartwarming. They were so thankful to have the bright colors near their loved one and to know that they could keep the shawl / lap blanket for years to come as a momento. The lap blankets received were of different colors, yarns, stitches, patterns, shapes, and sizes. This project has been in place for many years in the Palliative unit. Our supply of shawls / lap blankets is running low and we would appreciate any and all donations at this time. Questions? Please reach out to any member of the nursing team in Palliative on 10 South.
