LEADERSHIP MAKES A DIFFERENCE

I want to shout out Susan Looney of Parkview site location. Susan is the supervisor in our department, and she is a true inspiration through her role. Supervisors, not only help manage day to day responsibilities but they carry multiple roles at a time. Susan manages with compassion and care in all that she does and creates a work environment for us all mirroring that. Her sincerity in wanting the team to succeed and do well is reflected in her day-to-day interactions. Susan helps to create an environment that is positive, encouraging, supportive and inspirational to name a few. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work under her and to be a part of a great organization like Carilion. Susan teaches us that teamwork makes a dream work. We are so blessed to have her. Her guidance and advice have been invaluable to me since I joined. I can’t thank her enough for all the help that she’s provided not just to myself but to our entire team. Carilion should be proud to have Susan Looney represent the organization as she makes all employees in our department Carilion proud and happy to be a part of something so great beyond rewarding.
