Jeff Duncan RN Neuro Trauma PCU Going Above and Beyond to Assist Security

Jeff Duncan RN, assisted Christy Witt, Carilion Police Officer, with a man down, outside, on his way home. The following is a Thank you from Christy Witt. 

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you and recognize Jeff Duncan for going above and beyond tonight. Our officers were dispatched to a call of a man down in the grassy area next to Honey Tree/ Riverwalk Garage. Jeff had gotten off from work for the night and noticed our officers searching the area. Jeff then observed me standing by with a male subject that was laying in the grass. Jeff explained to me that he was a neuro nurse and he did a thorough check of the male subject and waited with me until EMS arrived. He could easily have driven by but he took the time to stop and show an act of kindness. I appreciate his effort and for going above and beyond to show kindness, compassion and dedication to a man in need. Thank you Jeff!
