IPC Spotlight of the Month - June 2021

Angela joined Carilion in the lab in 1997 where she developed critical thinking skills and a passion for promoting patient safety.  She transitioned to Infection Control in 2011 as an Infection Preventionist.  She serves as the Infection Control Co-Chair for the Hand Hygiene Charter Team and is very enthusiastic about stopping the spread of hospital-acquired infections through proper hand hygiene.  Angela loves working with her colleagues and spreading the word on infection prevention.
