Helpful Nurse Specialist, PCU

Transport wanted to take this time to recognize a very helpful nurse specialist who's office is right outside of 2 rooms on PCU. I have noticed over time that every time I am pulling or pushing a patient in or out of one of these rooms, she will get up from her chair, even when she looks very busy, and help us at the foot of the bed navigating and helping us get patients in or out with more ease and less bumping for the patients. Transport appreciates each and every staff member who has and continues to take those few extra moments to help us when they see us struggling or could otherwise use assistance. Although we wish we could take the time to call out each and every person who has helped, Desiree gets up from her chair and from her work multiple times just about every day to assist a lonely transporter get a bed in or out of a room. Thank you to all staff, but a special thank you and shout out to Desiree Beasley.
