Going Above and Beyond on 8 Mountain ICU

Lauren Bradley, a Clinical Associate on 8 Mountain ICU, recently went above and beyond for a patient. While in the hospital, this patients wife passed away on Hospice. Unfortunately, the patient was critically ill and could not leave the ICU to attend his wife's funeral. Lauren became very close to this patient and his family, and felt like there was more that she could do for them. Lauren worked diligently with TSG to assist this patient in being able to see his wife's service. Lauren coordinated with other family members attending the funeral to use FaceTime to allow the patient to view the service. With an iPad provided by TSG, Lauren set up everything at the patient's bedside, and he was able to watch his wife's entire funeral. 

The care and compassion Lauren provided to this patient and his family was heartwarming. Lauren will be graduating from nursing school in May, and starting as a nurse on 8 Mountain ICU. We are very excited to have her transition into a nursing role, and to continue to watch her provide excellent patient care.
