Several local women including 4 West RN, Margaret Winkler, recently attended the regional breast cancer fundraiser “Pledge the Pink” at Amelia Island, Florida. This made 5 years the group, also known as “Star City TaTas” has participated. The event moves to various Atlantic Coast communities. Participants run/walk 30 miles over three days. Breast cancer survivors and advocates raise awareness and finances to aid underprivileged women get mammograms. Read more in the attached link. Margaret has raised over $3000 for this great program.
