FCM's 1st Annual Angel Tree is a Huge Success!
Family & Community Medicine had overwhelming participation in their first volunteer Angel Tree program! FCM's Recognition and Retention Committee suggested an Angel Tree program similar to the one at CNRV. We would like to thank Tammy Cressel for helping us get started.
In a matter of 3 weeks, FCM's Recognition and Retention Committee and the manager team accomplished the following:
41 children of 21 FCM employees were identified for an Angel Tree tag
Team FCM created a Virtual Angel Tree through Teams.
All 41 Angel Tree Tags were adopted by FCM employees and clinics.
Each child received toys, clothes, shoes or other items identified on their wish list.
Despite all children being adopted, there was still a desire to support our fellow co-workers.
Additional funds were donated to ensure each family received a Walmart gift card to help with other needs or provide food.
FCM strives to be One Team with One Culture, Supporting One Mission - to improve the health of the communities we serve - starting with our FCM Community.
One employee's feedback sums up our success nicely: "Thank you seems so small in comparison to such a gift. Please know that we are truly grateful beyond measure!"
