Electronic recycling raises $8,305 for the new cancer center

On April 15, 2023, Carilion’s Sustainability department held an Electronics Recycling Day. Over 480 cars attended this drive through event and recycled 31,875 pounds of electronics. The funds generated from this event went towards the Carilion Clinic’s Foundation fundraiser for the new cancer center and it raised $3,305! 

Additionally, CTCH's Imaging Team and TSG worked with our recycling vendor to recycle an old MRI trailer that was no longer in use. This raised an additional $5,000 for the cancer center.
