CRMH BEE Award-Congratulations Stacy Rosinki!

Submitted by aphillips on

Congratulations Stacy Rosinski on receiving the BEE Award! This is Stacy's third BEE Award! Stacy exemplifies Carilion values and what it means to "Being Exceptional Everyday!

"In our opinion the entire clinical team on the Palliative Care Unit is exceptional, which only reinforces how incredibly competent and compassionate Stacy was while caring for my wife."

"With the help of the care team she was able to hold her newest grandchild before he went home and at the same time the uncertainty of her current condition and wondering whether she would be able to hold him again were weighing heavy on her."

"Stacy helped my wife to maintain a positive attitude and the will to do everything possible in order to go home where she could be with her family." "Stacy's calm, genuine, care and concern put my wife at ease."

"She quickly returned with a print flannel receiving blanket with a crocheted edging that was not too large and not too heavy but was just enough to make my wife comfortable. I thought that this was a sweet gesture and assumed that these small blankets were likely crafted by volunteers and donated to the hospital. Stacy smiled and replied that she actually saw this blanket in a store and liked it so she purchased it and brought it to the hospital for just such an occasion. My wife nearly cried. The fact  that this young Lady would see this simple blanket in a store and think that perhaps one of her patients might find it comforting and then purchase it for that purpose speaks volumes about the kind heart and dedication that Stacy Rosinski has. For these reasons my wife and I highly recommend Stacy Rosinski be awarded the BEE Award for Exceptional Care and Compassion."
