Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital Celebrates Kierstin Booze as the DAISY Award Winner

Kierstin took care of me on one of the scariest nights of my life. I came to the ER having an allergic reaction to cashews. She rounded on me regularly and was very kind and respectful. When my condition started to worsen, she quickly brought my concerns to the PA so they could give me my second dose of epi. Without her moving quickly, I could have gotten worse. She made me feel calm when I was terrified and hours away from any family members. I will always be thankful for her for care.
