Congratulations to Zane Doss, Clinical Associate, on winning the BEE Award!

Zane Doss, Clinical Associate, on 10 Mountain ICU, has demonstrated all the qualities that CRMH Bee Award exemplifies such as compassion and commitment. The BEE Award is given to outstanding ancillary staff for going above and beyond in their care of patients and families.

In April,  I was rounding on a patient who shared a wonderful, touching story with me. She sang praises about the team and shared something extra special about Zane. One night, this patient found herself having multiple anxiety episodes back to back. This was her first time experiencing this feeling. In the midst of her panic, Zane provided a comforting touch and personal moment of complete empathy. Sharing something so close to his heart allowed this patient to calmly fall asleep. During our conversation you could see the love this patient felt from Zane. Her praises were heart felt and full of emotion that Zane was right where he needed to be in her life. She was so grateful for his compassion, empathy and ability to make her feel comforted, supported and loved.
