Congratulations to Linda Dawson on winning the BEE Award for January 2023!

The purpose of the BEE award here at Carilion Clinic is to recognize and celebrate the hard work of our loyal and committed ancillary staff.  Linda Dawson, a Patient Care Technician, exhibits these qualities in performing her job every day here at CRMH!

"My patient care tech has truly blown me away by how very active she has been in my care. She is so sweet and soft spoken, but isn't shy to me because she is always willing to offer to help in any way. Although I've only come to know her in the past few weeks, she has made a huge difference in my care. One day she had to be my sitter and we talked about tons of things that made me happy as I felt very anxious that day. She is such a great listener, but I also enjoyed all the stories she shared with me. She made me feel very understood which is an important thing to me. Just goes to show how caring she is as a person, but as a tech too. Always willing to learn new things and get things/stuff when requested. She is good at understanding patient needs and I am thankful for her on my hospital journey. Thanks again, Linda!"
