Congrats Carilion Family Medicine - Southeast!

Congratulations to the team at Carilion Family Medicine – Southeast, recipients of the ambulatory/outpatient Hive Award! The Hive Award is the Ambulatory Recognition Council's new recognition celebrating collaboration, compassion, and teamwork that lead to exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Their nomination shared the following:
"The Southeast Family Medicine (SEFM) clinical staff were heading to a clinic event when a person had apparently suffered a medical emergency (while driving). Multiple vehicles were involved. The staff with their quick thinking went into critical care mode to provide medical assistance to individuals involved in this motor vehicle accident. Care was provided until EMS arrived on scene. I would like to recognize this team for their quick thinking and spectacular response skills in helping our community.
