Compassionate Collaboration

Sgt. Buck Blevins and Officer Wayne David responded to a request for police support related to a high potential for violence on the Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. They immediately established rapport with the patient through respectful, empathetic communication. Their assistance in de-escalating the situation and collaborative effort to promote safety is much appreciated.
