Compassionate Care Through Medication Assistance!

Kristin Johnson, CPhT is our Giles Medication Assistance Program specialist.  She assists patients with access to expensive lifesaving prescription medications. For patients without insurance and for those with insurance coverage, she is able to research and help folks complete the necessary application forms and gather the required documentation needed, to get free medications from the manufacturers. The application process can be overwhelming and complex.

Kristin's authentic and caring attitude elicited an unexpected response from a recent patient who burst into tears and told her that she can't express what Kristin's help means to her!  Word is spreading fast!  In the past two months, Kristin has enrolled more new patients than in all of last year. She has partnered with the Cardiology clinic to increase access to Eliquis and Entresto for their patients.  Way to go Kristin!  Thank you for being you and for your kind and caring heart!
