Compassion in Action

During a Schwartz Center Rounds earlier this year, we shared a link and information on an opportunity to recognize compassionate caregivers. A Carilion staff member thought this would be an excellent opportunity to recognize the wonderful care of a compassionate nurse. This resulted in a nurse from an outside facility being nominated for The National Compassionate Caregivers of the Year award!

Please plan on attending an upcoming Rounds where we foster compassionate care, empathy, team communication, and well-being of patients and healthcare workers alike.
