Compassion for Her Hometown
On August 30th Hurley, Virginia experienced a devastating flood and many landslides that destroyed dozens of homes and shook the community. Sandy Hess, Environmental Services Technician at CTCH, grew up in Hurley and was burdened for her hometown. She had friends and family who lost everything in the flood. Sandy wanted to help, so she organized a supply drive to collect donations for the flood victims. Her compassion inspired her co-workers. They collected cleaning supplies, food, pet food, hygiene items, and water for the Hurley community. We are proud of Sandy and our team for the compassion and generosity shown to our neighbors in Hurley.
