compassion
We had a patient come into Our Cardiology Office recently. He was having active Chest Pain. Dr. Molly Rutherford was the Doctor who He had a appointment with. She after seeing him told Him he had to go to the Emergency room with active chest pain. He stated he could not that his little dog was out in the car and, he had to take it back home because he no one to look after it. She came right back and, said well your going and, we will take care of the dog . Well She sure did. The patient was admitted to the hospital at least 3 days later He was discharge. He never had to worry about his dog. Dr. Rutherford without hesitation took that dog to Her home and, took care so this man would not have to worry about it. Then when he followed up at our office She had her husband to come and, bring the dog here to the office so the man could take him home. The man thinks she walks on water and, she just might. I called him to remind him of his follow up and, he could not praise her enough for saving his life and, making sure his animal was taken care of. She is so graceful in her care and, all of her patients adore her but, this one situation if this is not compassion for all things I do know what is. A small act of kindness goes a long way.
