Code Red

I want to recognize the exceptional work and response of three rheumatology nurses during a code red on Tuesday 8/13/2024. Naomi R. Stone, Destini R. Williams, and Kristen L. Wood worked together to respond quickly and efficiently to a health related emergency of a coworker. Their team work resulted in the safe transport of this coworker to the emergency room. Their professionalism in handling this encounter reassured the coworker and supporting staff resulting in calm and safe environment. These three women exemplified Carilion's values of collaboration, commitment, compassion, courage, and curiosity. I am proud to call them co-workers and am confident in their abilities to provide quality patient care.
