CNRV Hand Hygiene Derby Winners-- PACU!

Submitted by aabriggs on

Unwashed hands are the primary way that pathogens are transmitted throughout the healthcare environment. Many healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) are caused by pathogens transmitted from one patient to another via the contaminated hands of healthcare workers. This month CNRV held the first ever Hand Hygiene Derby, encouraging units to complete their required observations through a healthy dose of competition. CNRV's PACU showed commitment to collaboration through completing their hand hygiene observations first and sweeping the derby earlier this month. Congrats to CNRV PACU for being hand hygiene champions!
