Clinical Coordinators Making an Impact in ED Obs!

Meet Christina Johnston, a rockstar clinical coordinator for the Emergency Department Observation Unit.  Christina goes above and beyond every day to identify and tackle identified gaps in care for our Observation patients.  She also is a champion with our geriatric services as well.  Christina took initiative obtaining her certification in gerontology. Through her work in data collection and her passion for geriatrics, Christina has provided data that was integral in getting the green light for two more full time gerontologists.  This ensures that any older adult admitted to Roanoke Memorial has and evaluation by a gerontologist.  Well done, Christina!!!!
