CGCH Values Award Winner

CGCH presented their 3rd Values Award to Ken Hatfield in the Imaging Department. Ken was nominated for this award for many reasons, but the story that put him over the top was this one: One day a patient called to say she would be late for her appointment. Her car had broken down, she said, so she was going to have to walk to her appointment. Immediately after the patient hung up the phone, Ken noticed that it was raining. He called the patient back and told her to wait for him. He then drove to pick up the patient to drive her to the hospital for her appointment. After her testing was complete, he then drove her back home. This patient was moved to tears and in disbelief that someone that she didn't even know would do something like this for her. There are many days that we have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, and Ken is the first one to take that opportunity and do all the good he can. We are so fortunate to have him as part of our CGCH Family!
