CFMH Staff Come to the Aid of a Patient Trying to Get Home!

Angie Shively, RT (R) (CT) of Imaging, and Carl Cline, RN, MSN, Senior Director of Nursing, were spotted while leaving to go home one day trying to help a gentleman in his van to go home. It appeared to be quite a difficult task but Angie was doing everything she could to make sure that he was helped into the van properly and safely. There were a couple of people with him who didn't seem to be able to offer much help. Then Carl came up, got into the van and helped her lift the patient in. They could've just simply continued walking to their own vehicles and headed home, but instead took the time to assist and make sure he was helped. The entire group of people, including this gentleman, were extremely appreciative of their help! Way to show the Carilion value of COMPASSION you guys!!
