CFMH Guest Service Youth Volunteer

Ann Neussendorfer shared an observation of one of our youth volunteers this week. 
 

Brayden Smith went above and beyond to represent what the Carilion values are. Brayden noticed that an older patient had wandered from his family and became lost and unsteady. While our other team members were escorting this patient to the office, Brayden’s quick thinking realized that this was the patient that had lost his family. He went and informed the family that the gentleman was on his way to the office and then came back to help get the gentleman to his destination.
