CAUTI Reduction Celebration Across Carilion

This morning we held a celebration that recognized individuals and units across the organization that have achieved or contributed to our reduction in catheter associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI) at Carilion Clinic. Units recognized were those with zero infections, lowest use of indwelling urinary catheters (which decreases risk!), and with most improvement. Individuals across the organization were nominated by members of the CAUTI committee as champions for the cause. We awarded certificates to the providers with most votes in each facility and have named them all here. The pictures in this post recognize everyone nominated as a CAUTI prevention champion across Carilion Clinic.
