Carilion Security Officer Scott Dunn goes above and beyond to help a man in need!

On 11/18/25 Carilion Security officer Scott Dunn observed a man in distress waiting outside Tanglewood Mall and Scott asked asked the man if he was ok. He said he had lost his cellphone and couldn't find it. He was waiting on a ride back to Raleigh Court, and he missed his ride because he couldn't call them due to losing his phone. Scott called an Uber to come pick up the man to take him to Raleigh court and paid for it out of his own pocket to help this man. Scott went above and beyond to help this man who didn't know what he was going to do. Scott showed compassion that most people don't show today. We are so thankful for Scott and all of our Security for helping any way they can.
