Brittney Mayhew to the rescue!

A BIG shout out to Brittney Mayhew in the dining services. I had a patient on 9SPCU in a tremendous amount of pain and unable to find "good food" like her husband makes her at home. Having just got out of surgery yesterday, she was famished!...but just couldn't bear to eat "bland hospital food". After a few bites of breakfast and not touching her lunch, Brittney came in personally and talked with the patient to find out some of her favorites so she could provide her with a scrumptious dinner. She also made sure to write down a hearty breakfast for the patient.  At dinnertime, when Brittney came back through with her dinner, the patient almost squealed in delight! Brittney even told the patient that she would stop back tomorrow to make sure she gets delicious food for breakfast and lunch.  Brittney is now this patient's favorite person!  Thanks for making this patient's stay with us more enjoyable Brittney!
