Breaking communication barriers!!

I would like to thank Nicholas Shafer for this commitment to our work community!! I set a personal goal for myself to learn American Sign Language.  I didn't realize what a challenge it would be to learn without having someone to help me practice signing.  Nicholas signs and has been amazing in his efforts to help me. Nicholas has made time on his lunch break or before leaving work sign with me.  Sign language is not only benefiting my interactions with deaf or hearing impaired patients/staff but it has allowed me to make a new friend! Thank you Nicholas for being so thoughtful and dedicated to communicating!
