Barbara Pack, Home Health CNA, Saved the Day!

Thanks to the quick action of CNA,  Barbara Pack, with Home Health in the New River Valley, one of our Home Care patients got the emergency care he needed!  Upon arrival to her patient's home, Barbara noticed that her patient was having trouble breathing and not his usual self.  Barbara took quick action and immediately called her supervisor. The patient's wife stated that if Barbara hadn't picked up on the changes things could have been much worse and her husband probably wouldn't have made it. The patient was admitted to the hospital for several days and is now resting comfortably at home.

The patient called the Home Health office and wanted to nominate Barbara for an award! Both he and his wife are so thankful for Barbara's care and how she helped to facilitate getting him the help he needed. They honored Barbara by sending her flowers to the office!
