Alison Stoehr--Outstanding Preceptor Award Winner!

On November 27th, members of the Nursing Center of Excellence virtually presented the Outstanding Preceptor Award to Alison Stoehr, SOAR Nurse Extern at CRMH, with the help of faculty at UVA School of Nursing. Her nomination read, "Alison has taken time to clearly and thoroughly show me skills and help me familiarize myself with different units. She has made sure to go though each competency and skills and give me time to ask questions. During our shifts, she has always made herself available for questions and assistance. Alison has also made herself available before and after shifts for any questions I had had. I have felt very welcomed by her and made comfortable in my position during training. She always made sure to wait for me and ensure I knew where to go when learning how to navigate the hospital." Alison's commitment and compassion toward not only her patients, but also to her Carilion Clinic family, deserves to be recognized and celebrated.
