Above and Beyond

Aaron Cooke , Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital Dietary Services manager,  went above and beyond to assist a patient on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Mr. Cooke observed a Physical Therapy patient having difficulty ambulating to her appointment. He immediately ran to her aid. He escorted her to her destination within the facility while providing support to insure that she would arrive safely without injury. He also worked to get her a wheelchair for safer transportation within the facility during her visit and provided comfort and care to ease the patients anxiety. We are so lucky to have such compassionate employees. Thank you for all you do Aaron.
