The Countdown Is On to the Opening of Carilion Children's Tanglewood
It's almost time!
Carilion Children's practices will be moving into the new Tanglewood facility over the next few weeks, weekend appointments will be available beginning Sept. 18, and the building will be fully operational for patients on Oct. 4.
Carilion Children's Tanglewood will include:

- Certified Child Life Specialists
- Full-service lab
- Imaging services
- Pediatric Behavioral Health
- Pediatric Cardiology
- Pediatric Child Development
- Pediatric and Adult Dentistry
- Pediatric Endocrinology
- Pediatric and Adult ENT
- Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Pediatric Genetics
- Pediatric Neurology
- Pediatric Neurosurgery (satellite location)
- Pediatric Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (satellite location)
- Pediatric Pulmonology
- Pediatric Surgery
- Pediatric Therapies
The main entrance to the facility is located on the Barnes & Noble side of the mall (shown on the maps below as #1). The main entrance is not the one that faces Electric Road/419.
Dentistry patients will enter at the back of the building (shown on the maps below as #3). ENT/Audiology and Adolescent Medicine patients will enter through the mall entrance closest to Carilion Children's and proceed upstairs.
