Reminder: Take Note of These RQI Deadlines and Scheduled Downtime
Your next quarterly learning module for Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) will be assigned to your transcript in Workday on Wednesday, Oct. 1. Be sure to review your transcript and complete your elearning and skills activities to ensure your American Heart Association certification remains current.
Because of the 2025 AHA science update and our transition from Cornerstone to Workday, there are several key points and deadlines to know about completing your RQI modules.
What to Know
- You are encouraged to complete the RQI cognitive assessment within each module by Tuesday, Oct. 21.
- If you complete your RQI module's cognitive assessment by October 21 you will receive the 2025 AHA Guidelines Science In-Service course on October 22 in your RQI assignment. The science update will take approximately 15 minutes.
- If you do not complete the cognitive assessment by Oct. 21, you will receive the AHA's updated science module for each discipline you are assigned. Times to complete each module are below:
- BLS: 60-90 minutes
- ACLS: 2-3 hours
- PALS: 3-4 hours
- Education staff will be rounding to help you launch your RQI modules in Workday and locate the cognitive assessment.
- RQI modules assigned in October must be completed by Wednesday, Dec. 31. Otherwise, progress will be lost, and you will need to complete the new science modules in the January-March quarter.
- RQI carts are returning to hospitals in their original locations between Sept. 29 and Oct. 15. New RQI cart locations include CRMH Checkout Cart #3 and CFMH Medical Office Building.
