Prepare for the Upcoming Nexus Data Freeze

We're getting closer to Nexus! Our UKG go-live is Sept. 21. Workday and the expanded Employee Center will go live on Oct. 1. To prepare, we will begin to transfer data from the old systems to the new systems later this month.

Some of the data transfers are complex, so we are putting a freeze on entering changes to the old systems while we prepare for go-live. That means there will be a last day to make specific changes in our existing Lawson, UKG and other systems that are moving to Nexus. More-complex information—for example, changes to org structures—will have earlier last day timelines than simpler updates.

We have created a Last Day List on the Nexus hub so you can see the dates. During the freeze, you will not be able to perform the tasks between the last day in the current system and the first day in the new system.

Many of the tasks on the Last Day List are management tasks, but some apply to all employees.

What You Need to Do

• Plan ahead. Do as much as possible before the Last Days shown on the hub.
• Please respect these dates. Making changes to our current systems during the freeze dates interrupts the teams’ ability to perform final data conversion and set-up of the new systems. It puts patient care, the go-live date and possibly on-time payroll at risk.
• Check the Last Day List on the Nexus hub regularly for updates.
