New Tazewell Family and Community Medicine Location Opens
A ribbon cutting event for our new Family and Community Medicine – Tazewell practice (282 Market Street in Tazewell) was held on Tuesday, August 4. The practice is officially open to patients, and the new location offers 16 exam rooms, 4 procedure rooms, as well as onsite lab capabilities.
“This new practice represents improved quality of care,” said Lindsay Collins, vice president of Hospital Operations and interim vice president of Family and Community Medicine. “It also represents our work to continue providing the resources vital to serving our patients in the community where they live.”
The practice welcomes new patients of all ages and strengthens access to primary care in Tazewell. Patients who visit for acute care and wish to establish ongoing care will now have direct access to a convenient practice staffed by experienced clinicians.
Our team of experts at this new location include Junetta Bowen, DO and Jordan Saunders, DO. They’re joined by Alyssa Whited, PA and Jacob Bowles, PA as well as Abigail Whitt, NP.
“We look forward to continuing our long-term connections with patients at this new location,” said Grant Greenberg, MD, senior vice president and chair of Family and Community Medicine. “This space is an opportunity to build on Tazewell’s existing capabilities. Family and Community Medicine is delighted to improve access to our primary care services.”
Practice hours are Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. To learn more or to schedule an appointment, you can reach the practice at (276) 988-8850.
