Microsoft Edge Browser Available on iPhones for Inpatient, Emergency Department Staff

Earlier this year, inpatient and Emergency Department staff within our hospital facilities received iPhones as part of a departmental communications upgrade.

As of Thursday, May 15, these iPhones now have the Microsoft Edge browser available, allowing users to scan QR codes to access items like end-of-shift reports. Because the phones have limited data plans, the browser is available only when connected to Wi-Fi. A job aid is available with step-by-step instructions on how to access the camera within the browser.
