9 West Ortho Easter Egg Hunt year two

Submitted by khleonard on

For the last two years 9 west created an Easter Egg Hunt. Plastic eggs were filled with candy and this year a few had a prize claim ticket in them. Katrina Leonard RN Operations Manager has taken this on and leaves a bag of eggs for the shifts to hide for the oncoming shift. The staff has become competitive in both hiding and finding of the eggs. In addition Sarah Booth placed a jar of jelly beans on the counter for the staff to guess how many are in there. Whoever gets the closest wins a prize.

Celebrating Dr. Ben Lewis' Leadership

Submitted by ekabbott on

The recent Management Team Meeting began with a celebration of Dr. Ben Lewis.  Dr. Lewis has dedicated many years as a lead physician and regional medical director in the southern region of Family and Community Medicine. Although he is stepping down from his regional leadership role, Dr. Lewis will continue to provide excellent care to his patients in Martinsville. The team had fun wearing the "uniform" of a white dress shirt and khakis that Dr. Lewis often wears, and they had plenty of great stories to share!
