Virtualist Program is a Success

Dr. Dunn, the remote provider who began seeing patients in October has seen nothing but success with this program.  He works 4 days a week and is at 100% capacity most of those days.  He is currently seeing primarily same/next day acute visits and limited hospital follow ups.  Dr. Thompson, another remote provider, fills in when needed and is also seeing great success.

The Digital Health team surveys the patients who are utilizing this service and have received great feedback and comments.

 The virtualist program will be expanding in the coming months with the addition of new patient appointments to the schedule, expansion to the rural health clinics and possibly welcoming an additional remote provider.
