CGCH Ripple Award

Cari Vest, SLP was selected by her peers as the December Ripple Award recipient for Giles.  The ripple award is based upon a quote from Dalai Lama, where "just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals have far-reaching effects". 

Cari's peers wrote that while she has been putting extra work in with patients on the floor, is always positive, remains up-to-date on evidence based practice, and has been instrumental in the creating of the Head & Neck Cancer protocol for SLPs in the Western Region.  Cari is described as a "jack of all trades" and is a resource for all speech therapists.  She was also detrimental in creating the new SLP bank for the recent Epic Horizon upgrade.  Most importantly, Cari always has a smile on her face and time to help everyone.
