Outstanding Preceptor Award

On October 18th, The Nursing Center of Excellence traveled to CNRV to present the Outstanding Preceptor Award to Sara Sartin, RN.  Leaders from the Nursing Center of Excellence presented her with the award alongside her team members and nursing leaders. Wendy Worrell, RN, Clinical Educator, who submitted the nomination said that "One of Sara's greatest gifts is her compassion and non judgmental attitude when caring for all our Birthplace patients and modeling this for our new employees."  Sara's commitment and compassion toward not only her patients, but also to her Carilion Clinic family, deserves to be recognized and celebrated.  Congratulations!
