Show You Care: Our Annual Giving Campaign Has Begun

Carilion’s annual giving campaign has begun with a new name, new look and incredible news. An anonymous donor has offered to match gifts to our Cancer Center Fund dollar for dollar, up to $250,000. This means you can double the impact of your gift at no additional cost to you!

Our Cancer Center Fund supports the expansion of our cancer program, including a new state-of-the-science building. You may also consider a gift to our Employee Emergency Fund to help co-workers who experience a temporary crisis or to our Patient Care Fund that provides medications and equipment for patients in need.

But your gift can go to any Carilion Foundation fund—show how much you care by making a gift today. You can also show your support by using the "Carilion Cares, I Care" Teams background during your meetings this month. You can download the background in the Brand Center.

How To Give

• Make a payroll deduction gift to the Carilion Clinic Foundation.
• Make a one-time gift with a credit card to the Carilion Clinic Foundation.
• Mail a check payable to the Carilion Clinic Foundation. Mail all checks to the Carilion Clinic Foundation, P.O. Box 12187, Roanoke, VA 24023. Or send through interoffice mail to the Carilion Clinic Foundation, Fralin House, 903 S. Jefferson St., Roanoke, VA

This Year’s Prizes

When you turn in your pledge form in person, you can spin the wheel to win Carilion-branded prizes. Each week throughout the campaign, those who give will be eligible for weekly prizes such as exciting local events and gift cards. Make a donation of $52 ($2 per pay period) and you'll receive a "Carilion Cares, I Care" T-shirt!

1. Kickoff drawings: If you turn in a pledge form at a kickoff event, you will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Amazon or Walmart gift card (choice is up to the winner). The drawing will be only for employees at that particular kickoff location who turn in a gift form or make a gift online the day of the kickoff, so the odds are great!
    
2. Weekly drawings: We will have drawings each Monday in October, beginning Oct.10, for a different prize package. The drawing will be from names of donors from the previous week.
   
   Oct. 10 - Suite access to one Salem Red Sox home game of your choosing (game date to be selected in spring of 2023); includes 10 tickets and a $100 gift certificate for concessions.

   Oct. 17 - A $500 gift certificate to Hotel 24 in Staunton
   
   Oct. 24 - Four tickets to Illuminights, plus a gift certificate for $100 at Outback Steakhouse
   
   Oct. 31 - Four tickets to Mill Mountain Theatre’s production of Holiday Inn in December, plus a $100 gift certificate for Billy’s Roanoke
    
3. End-of-campaign drawings: On Nov. 1, we will draw names for $250 Amazon gift cards. Names will be drawn from all of those who have made a gift of pledge to the Campaign during the month of October.
