Great Catch- Amanda Terry, PharmD

While reviewing a patient's medication list, Amanda discovered that the a patient's medication allergy was recorded incorrectly and the patient was actually receiving the medication he had reported an allergy to.  The adverse reaction reported was angioedema, which could have resulted in serious life-threatening side effects.  Luckily, Amanda discovered the error and quickly mitigated any patient harm. 

Amanda does a fabulous job spending time with patients, trying to navigate complicated medication lists.  We are so grateful for Amanda and her vigilance and attention to detail.
