Reduction of 1st Birth C-Section Rates at the Birthplace, CNRV

Danielle Liddle, a nurse and educator with Carilion lead a nursing team at CNRV's Birthplace to help reduce first birth c-section rates. Through several nurse-driven interventions, we realized a significant reduction in first birth c-sections! Danielle's project was chosen to present at the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses' national conference and will be published in JOGNN. We're so grateful for the hard work from Danielle and the rest of the nursing team at CNRV's Birthplace! Together, we continue to improve maternal outcomes for our community!
